UpCloud Starter 1 vCPU / 1 GB at €3.00/month (Hourly, capped at 28 days/month). Plans without a 12–24 month term cost more per GB; set Contract to "No contract" in the table to see them all.
Which cheap VPS is actually reliable?
Cheap and reliable usually means Netcup or Hetzner: German providers with solid hardware. Contabo is the cheapest per GB but users report oversold CPUs and slow support during outages. DigitalOcean and Vultr cost more but bill hourly with no contract.
How does the "Best rated" sort work?
It ranks providers by their Trustpilot score weighted by the number of reviews (a Bayesian average with a prior of 1,000 reviews at the site-wide mean). A 4.8 from 50 reviews lands below a 4.6 from 11,000, because 50 reviews say less about a provider than 11,000 do.
Is Hetzner still the cheapest VPS?
