All Type A (shared, no reserved CPU), Ubuntu, New York calculator estimates. Kamatera bills in USD; euro prices use 1.1225 USD per EUR (ECB). 5 TB traffic included, extra $0.01/GB. IPv4 and tax are not itemized in the estimate: confirm at checkout. Backups and management are optional extras. Monthly prices excluding VAT, as shown to a visitor from Turkey (0% VAT). EU buyers pay local VAT on top.
Kamatera free trial: how it works
- Length and size: 30 days, for one server whose configuration costs up to $100. It is not unlimited credit for several servers.
- Included: the signup page lists 1 TB of block storage, 1 TB of combined incoming and outgoing traffic, platform features and technical support.
- Card: a valid credit card is normally required. Usage inside the trial limits is not charged. If a card is rejected, the FAQ describes a refundable PayPal deposit instead. There is no promise of a card-free trial.
- Limits: going over the trial limits can cause charges. Unmetered traffic is not available during the trial.
How to cancel the trial
Terminate the server before the 30 days end. If you leave it running, paid billing starts. The first invoice after a trial includes the partial month after the trial plus the current month. Some Trustpilot reviewers report trial accounts held for fraud checks or asked for a deposit, so do not plan to rely on the trial at the last minute.

Billing gotchas
- Hourly or monthly. Both exist, no long-term contract. Hourly usage is metered by the minute and the monthly invoice collects the previous month's usage.
- Powered off is not free. On an hourly server, storage and the IP address are still billed while it is off. The stopped rate depends on disk size.
- Monthly servers bill the full month. Servers added or upgraded after day one are prorated and appear on the next invoice. Cancel after the first day and you still pay the full month.
- Traffic depends on how you pay. Monthly: 5 TB (1 TB in Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo and Singapore), then $0.01/GB. Hourly: $0.01/GB from the first byte, no 5 TB allowance. Unmetered monthly is up to 50 Mbps and costs $3 per Mbps above that.
- IP addresses. One datacenter IP is included. Up to three more cost $1/month each. IPv6 must be requested from support and costs $1/month per address.
