Hetzner price in 2026: Hetzner Cloud pricing for every plan
Hetzner Cloud now starts at €5.49/month for 2 vCPU and 4 GB (CX23), €8.49 for 8 GB (CX33) and €15.99 for 16 GB (CX43). These are the prices for new orders since 15 June 2026, in euro, excluding VAT and excluding the IPv4 fee (€0.50/month). Existing servers keep their old price.

Facts above read from Hetzner's own docs on 5 October 2026. Hetzner loads the per-GB rates for volumes and snapshots and the overage rate for traffic with a script that we could not read, so we do not print them. We would rather leave a number out than guess it.
How is Hetzner Cloud billed?
- Hourly, with a monthly cap. You never pay more than the monthly price. Delete a server early and you pay only the hours it ran.
- Powered off is not free. A server that exists is billed, because its CPU, RAM and disk stay reserved for you.
- Idle IPv4 is billed. A Primary IPv4 that exists is billed even if no server uses it.
- Only outgoing traffic over your limit is charged, in 100 MB blocks. Traffic inside Hetzner's network is free.

How much does Hetzner Cloud cost?
Since 15 June 2026, new Hetzner Cloud servers start at €5.49/month for CX23 (2 vCPU, 4 GB), €8.49 for CX33 (4 vCPU, 8 GB) and €15.99 for CX43 (8 vCPU, 16 GB). Prices exclude VAT and the €0.50/month IPv4 address. Existing servers keep their old price.
Is the IPv4 address included in the price?
No. Hetzner lists plan prices without a public IP. A Primary IPv4 costs €0.50/month excl. VAT, and you are billed for Primary IPs that exist, even if no server uses them. A Primary IPv6 is free. A server with IPv4 costs the plan price plus €0.50.
How is Hetzner Cloud billed?
By the hour, with a monthly cap: a bill never goes above the monthly price. If you delete a server before month end, you pay only the hourly rate for the time it ran. A powered-off server is still billed, because its resources stay reserved. (Hetzner Cloud billing FAQ.)
How much do Hetzner backups cost?
20% of the price of the server you turn them on for. You get 7 automatic daily backup slots per server, and the oldest is deleted when all are full. (Hetzner Cloud billing FAQ.)
How much do Hetzner snapshots cost?
Snapshots are billed per gigabyte per month, on the compressed size of the snapshot, and prorated for part months. Hetzner shows the per-GB rate in its Cloud Console and on hetzner.com/cloud, loaded by script, so we could not read it automatically. Check the rate there before you rely on it. Snapshots are kept until you delete them.
How much does Hetzner volume (block storage) cost?
Volumes are billed hourly with a monthly cap, from 10 GB to 10 TB per volume in 1 GB steps, up to 16 volumes per server. Hetzner points to hetzner.com/cloud/block-storage for the per-GB rate, which loads by script, so we do not copy a number here. Check it there. Hetzner said in June 2026 that storage products and Load Balancers were not part of the June 15 change.
How much traffic is included?
Hetzner says cloud servers in its EU locations (Falkenstein, Nuremberg, Helsinki) include at least 20 TB of traffic. US locations include at least 1 TB and Singapore at least 0.5 TB. Only outgoing traffic over the limit is charged. Traffic inside Hetzner's network is free. The overage rate is on Hetzner's pricing page (not readable without a script, so not copied here).
Did Hetzner raise prices in 2026?
